Beautiful modern family home (2017) of approx. 145 m² with amazing views over the bay of IJburg and a southwest-facing backyard with a private parking space. It consists of 3 levels, a living room with a ceiling height of 3.28 m, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a fantastic roof terrace!
Surroundings
IJburg is an urban district in Amsterdam East situated on the IJburg Bay (IJmeer) and next to the green Diemerpark. It is a water-rich, quiet, neat, and inspiring environment and has a city beach within walking distance! An ideal location to live, with the center of Amsterdam 15 minutes away via tram 26 and the A1, A9, and A10 highways just a few minutes away.
It is a wonderful alternative for people who want to live in a spacious, urban, and outdoor setting, but still want to remain connected to the center of Amsterdam.
IJburg has everything in terms of schools, supermarkets, cafes/restaurants, a beach, recreational opportunities, etc.
Layout
Upon entering, you immediately get a wonderful sense of spaciousness. This is due to the ceiling height of no less than 3.28 m and the width of 5.57 m.
Entrance with cloakroom and toilet, stairs to the upper floor, living room with the modern kitchen at the front. The kitchen is equipped with various (built-in) appliances: dishwasher, induction hob, combination microwave oven, fridge with freezer, and Quooker. In addition to the extractor fan, the ventilation system can also be adjusted to a higher setting if necessary.
The living room offers access via sliding doors to the sunny backyard. Here, you can enjoy spending time early in the spring on the terrace under the canopy, which features electrically operated sun blinds and a heater with an integrated music system (Bluetooth) and an outdoor tap. The garden, designed by a landscape architect, has been maintained with love and contains many native and organic plants and two trees. At the end of the yard, there is a storage shed, a bicycle shelter, and a private parking space with a charging station (16A).
First floor
Landing, 1 bedroom at the front with a bay window offering a beautiful view over the water, and 2 bedrooms at the rear. Next to a fairly large bedroom lies a somewhat smaller one, currently used as a home office/guest room. Both rear bedrooms feature electrically operated screens. The bathroom is equipped with a vanity unit, walk-in shower, and a second toilet. The bathroom also features an automatic ventilation system, which automatically switches to a higher setting when showering.
Second floor
Large and very bright space with a bedroom and a second bathroom (shower, sink, and toilet). Ideal for a teenager in the house! Or, of course, suitable as a master bedroom.
The washing machine and dryer connections are located on the landing. This landing leads to the wonderfully sunny roof terrace. An outdoor tap and power outlets are also located here.
